Sexiest blogger in Seattle

| | Comments (5)

Hey, I just read in the local alt-weekly a little clip called "Where are Seattle's Sexiest People." Actually the alt-weekly (The Stranger) is more of a regional weekly but I live close enough to have an opinion.

There are actually a lot of sexy bloggers in Seattle. Jane Duvall, Mattise, Monk, Sunday's Hangover, Rhonda, Tonya, Matt, Aurora, Jyl, Joygantic, Josie, Joelle, NerdyGirl, GoddessLena, Chris Pirillo (who's wife and at least one other person I've spoken with thinks he's a hunk) come to mind. So do... oh it's almost hopeless. There are tons.

Anyway, if you live in the general vicinity you can email a photo (with permission) to Sexiest@TheStranger.com It wouldn't exactly kill us if a blogger wound up in the list. Here's their pitch:

Where are Seattle's Sexiest People?

We know they're out there -- the guys and gals who make your knees go weak and your bits/clits dance in your pants. Who are they? Where are they? At your favorite cafe? In one of your classes? Training your ass off at the gym? Checking IDs at that night club?

Send us your nominees for this year's Seattle's Sexiest.
We want to find regular people -- save the local celebs for the glossy mags -- and objectify them in print for all to enjoy. So where can we find the folks who make leaving the house this time of year worth the trouble? Where is Seattle's hottest bartender? Barista? Student? Stripper? Personal Trainer? Retail Clerk?

E-mail photos of your nominees -- photos taken with permissions, please -- to sexiest@thestranger.com. Include your nominee's names, some clues as to how we can track 'em down, and a few words about what makes your nominee so damn sexy. And, hotties, don't be shy: If you think you're the sexiest, go ahead and nominate yourself.

The pick up our Valentine's Day issue on February 9 and meet Seattle's Sexiest!

And here are their

[Want me to? :-) If they had an ex-pat category I'd consider it. Thanks, Goose. --fl]

If I were closer, I'd have to nominate YOU and your blog... sexiest blog and sexiest blogger!

I recently stumbled across your blog but have been reading Monk, Matisse's and a few others' blogs for a while already. Seattle's definitely one of the places I have to visit this year - I've gotta hang out with all you sexy ppl soon!

[We'll leave the lights on then. We're in the middle of the Northwest Rain Festival (it runs from September to May) but there's hardly anywhere nicer to be in the summer. Thanks, Enigma. --fl]

Dude. Hunk? Someone's on acid. :)

[They might not have said hunk but I distinctly remember hearing someone say she thought you were cute. Everybody's somebody's cup of tea. Actually I'd started out with a list of general Seattle bloggers -- where you came in -- and when that got too vast I pruned it down to sex bloggers. Sorry about the half-vast pruning job, Chris. Thanks for dropping by. --fl]

Are you going to nominate yourself? I think you should!

[Eek! I've got too much Lake Woebegone blood to call attention to myself that way. :-) Thanks for suggesting it though, that's very kind of you. Thanks, Julie. --fl]
