Oops, I forgot. The word of the day is "moisture"

| | Comments (8)

I've been on a bit of a social/political/gender tear lately and neglecting the salacious side of life.

So I'd like to take a moment to point out that the word "moisture" is just so incredibly erotic. It's evocative. It's metaphorical. It makes your mouth feel good when you say it. If I knew more about wine than "one kind is red and the other kind is white" I might say that it feels comes out like a kiss with promises of frictionless anticipation and a finishing note of tender flesh against flesh.

Moisture. It's a good thing.

This is terribly unfair. I am at my desk at 3:45am to get some work done. And not only are there four new posts that weren't there yesterday evening, now you post that picture...(sigh)

Please go to sleep so I can get some work done.

[I know how you feel, Kochanie. I was up till all hours *writing* those posts! And then, well, except for this one, I laid awake alternately hoping I made sense and fearing I'd just alienated everyone instead. So thanks for your kind words. --fl]

luckily I was already a pervert before reading your blog fl, because otherwise I'd be blaming you for a lot right now. :P

[Do you have any idea how sexy that kind of ownership is, M. Wowzie! Thanks, M. --fl]

you're an evil man Figleaf...
terribly evil
:P

I was hoping to hit the hay soon (it's 1am here in Old Sydney town), and now it's going to take a wee bit longer to 'go' to sleep.

[I hope you slept well then, Anastasia. Thank you. --fl]

If you ever need help with getting good and soapy please note that I would be more than willing to assist you.

[Funny you should say that now, Kari. Until very recently I felt, strongly, that if I could do something myself then I shouldn't ask for help doing it. I'm finally understanding the differences between needing help, wanting help, appreciating help, and "oh that would be wonderful if you helped." Guess which way I'd answer now? :-) Thanks. --fl]

Fig, did you date me in high school? My high school boyfriend swore that the sexiest word in the English language was "Moist".

I tend to believe that...!

[Hmm. In high school I probably thought the sexiest word was "breast." It's still the most sensual-to-pronounce word for, um, breasts, but "moisture" feels good to say plus it has *way* more onomotopeaic connotations. That said, I'm very sorry we didn't date in high school, Mona. --fl]

So I have one day dealing with stolen posts and you get an itch in your fingers and write how many posts????

Moist...moisture...moistness...mmmmm

:D

[I don't want to think about how many posts I've written in the past two days. The awful thing is I've drafted three or four more and I'm not quite sure how to finish them. Mmmeanwhile, mmmm, mmmmoisture. :-) Thanks, AAG. --fl]
