HNT - Recipe

Oh, cool!
I like food!

I have a crock pot but I never used it for tomato sauce. I only use it for corned beef and cabbage or potato soup.

[I'm not sure this makes me any less of a nerd, Kate, but you can use crockpot and pressure-cooker recipies almost interchangably. :-) But yeah, they're pretty good for anything you'd simmer for a long time, and tomato sauce is a good candidate. Happy HNT to you too, by the way. --fl]

We use our crockpot (called a slow-cooker over here) a lot for casseroles and stews. It's a great way to cook things. Never taken my clothes off to do it though. Happy HNT.

Honestly I never would have thought of using a crockpot to make sauce, although we do use the pressure cooker for a great many things.
