HNT - Bike Day

| | Comments (16)

It's been mercifully cooler (meaning, for me, in the 60's or lower 70's Fahrenheit.) Nice enough for me to bring a camera along when I biked to and from the gym.

Happy HNT (or Half-nekkid Thursday!)

Update: People kept asking how I got the photos. I just had a little camera with me and reached out over the handlebars. The camera also has video functionality so this might give a better impression of the process.

Sexy legs. And wow- I'm impressed you could get that picture...

[I got it the old-fashioned way, BBG, I reached out over the handlebars with a pocket camera and clicked enough dozens of blind shots that, fortunately, one of them turned out. Actually it wasn't that bad, but since a lot of people asked I updated with a video snippet that might give a better idea of how it worked. Thanks! --fl]

I can almost see right up your shorts! ;)

[Exactly! Almost? Hey, fair's fair! :-) Thanks, Vixen. Happy HNT too. --fl]

Oh what I'd give for summer temperatures like that! Great shot!

[Hey, and we get low, low humidity to go with it. Pretty deluxe. Of course the downside is the "Seattle Rain Festival" which goes from October to May. :-) That's pretty nice too plus rain here means snow in the mountains. Thanks, Dana. --fl]

Did you did this one while driving?

[I did it while riding the bike. But glad you asked -- it's fun that there's some mystery to the photo. Thanks, Maeve. --fl]

An action shot? Now *that* is talent. Gorgeous trail you've got there, as well. :)

Happy HNT!

[Hey, on the other side in this photo it was full-tilt Puget Sound with a marina, sailboats, and a whole 'nother snow-capped mountain range in the distance! So yeah, we're lucky to live here. Again, in the summer that is. Winter? It's mostly a great view of a lot of rain. :-) Thanks, Ms.I. Happy HNT to you too. --fl]

That is a cool camera angle, lol. =) Happy HNT!

[Thank you, AR. Happy HNT to you too. --fl]

I want to be reincarnated as a bike.

Happy HNT, fl!

[Oh my! Thanks, Kochanie! --fl]

Now that is a good trick - taking photos while riding a bike. Glad you got there safely :-) Happy HNT.

[I did have a couple of tense moments where I suddenly needed three hands. But by and large it went pretty well. Thanks, LR, and happy HNT to you too. --fl]

Biking clearly does a body good! 60s and 70s are my favorite temps. We've finally gotten back down there after a couple weeks of nasty hotness. I'm not sure how I'm going to survive when I move to Charleston, S.C. (not much longer now!)

HHNT!

[I don't either -- which is why I moved almost as far from S.C. as I could get without crossing a border or taking a boat. :-) Thanks, Bunny. And happy HNT. --fl]

I'll join the crowd: how did you take that pic??

[Actually you're the one who prompted me to post the video. Thanks for the nudge, CB. --fl]
