HNT - One Sheet to the Wind

| | Comments (19)

I've been so busy since, basically, school let out. And for some reason -- possibly the warm weather -- I've been sleeping a lot more. And napping. Which may explain my slow blogging pace. (I swear when it gets hot -- where hot for me is over maybe 75 degrees Fahrenheit -- the lecithin in my brain starts to melt or something.) Anyway, when life serves you lemons, make lemonade! Or, in this case, make the bed! :-)

Wow, I really like your bedroom. Alot alot. I wanted something similar....darker blue, perhaps. I love color on the walls, not having grown up with it much.

I totally agree, about the heat - anything about 75 is too hot for me and I turn sloth.

HHNT!

[Thank you, Lilly! (I like the way you play with color in today's photo. Also what a suggestively half-nekkid photo! Happy HNT.) --fl]

Cool Bedroom...is that doors out to a balcony or a window?

[It's doors to a small unheated side room. Thanks, Marcello. --fl]

I didn't know you wore glasses. I wear them toooooo!

Ugh! not only is it hot but OMG! So humid! But on the up side we're getting rain! But on the down side, it's bringing out all the little gross critters. But it's rain!

HHNT Figleaf. :D

Lovely bedroom btw.

[Glasses are cool -- I always like people who are confident enough to leave them on... till it stops being practical to. :-) Thanks, Raven. --fl]

Your room looks very cozy! The bed looks very comfy. Great shot! Happy HNT.

[Thank you, AR. Happy HNT to you too. --fl]

Oh my, my, my. I love this shot. Your bedroom is beautiful and looks like it feels cozy.

Oh, then there's the guy making the bed. *fans self* Seriously.

[Thanks, Ms. I. Making the bed is just the first step. :-) --fl]

Heat, no thanks. Daytime temp of 50 degrees would be better for gardening, walking, thinking, sleeping, etc.

Now, fl, if ever you want to provide an example of pRon that women prefer, use this photo stream. To this viewer the photos evoke the images of a lover during the moments right before he climbs into bed for an afternoon dalliance.

This photo would also be excellent pRon for interior decorators. Here's a sample caption:

Figleaf chose the warm tones of the buttery sheet and wood trim to balance the cool but dramatic cobalt blue of the walls. That same contrasting pallete is repeated with blue tattoo on the buttery skin of our decorator cum model.

;-)

Happy TNT (totally nekid Thursday)!

[Hey, nettled as I can get on the *general* principle that "there's nothing sexier than a man washing dishes," which I find problematic because it too closely ties sexuality and housework, in the *specific* case of really *creating* a space, from the sheets up, either alone *for* a partner or together *with* a partner, I get what you're saying. Thanks so much, Kochanie. --fl]

Love the bedroom...and love the master in the bedroom! HHNT!

[Thank you, Mariposa. Happy HNT to you too. --fl]

Great photo as usual. Napping naked under a sheet is a nice way to cool down - unless of course someone else is there too, in which case things could get very hot indeed :-)

[Excellent points, of course, Lapis Ruber. Thank you. --fl]

Wonderful picture - would you like to come make my bed?

For me it's not the heat, it's the humidity (so cliche, I know). That's what's bringing me down lately.

[Any time, Bunny. And yeah, humidity isn't a cliche, it's a menace! Just can't *wait* to go to the central midwest this August. :-( Thanks! --fl]

Have to agree that the bedroom is beautiful, but the guy making the bed is even more so :) Have I missed a close-up of that tattoo in the past? If not, I'm making a request!

[Thanks for your very kind words, Biscuit. As for the tattoo, I really do need to do a good photo of that. If, for no other reason, so folks can know what happens after multiple decades have elapsed. :-) Thanks! --fl]

Great picture--and, yes, we love your bedroom (and your blog, too, btw)!

HHNT

[Thanks you two. Happy HNT. --fl]

Really nice picture.

And it was 85 degrees here at 9 am (our normal high for this time of year). With about 90% humidity, so I completely understand about the weather.

[Ugg! I'd stay inside and look at pictures too. :-) Thanks, ks. --fl]

That bedroom is so very peaceful - or at least it looks that way.

Now you? Don't think peaceful is the word I'd use ...

HHNT!

[I like a peaceful bedroom.. as a baseline anyway. :-) Thanks, Dana. --fl]

I suspect 75 degrees might be a little warm for me too ... but I would love a chance to find out :)

Delightful, classy bedroom and a very original shot. Thanks for sharing.

Happy HNT!

[Thanks, Ro! Happy HNT to you too. --fl]

I love your bed (it looks almost like a sleigh-bed?), and my living room is in the same shade of blue...

I'm not sure if I would enjoy the heat, but I always sleep with the window open in the summer... I love feeling the cool night breeze trace a path along my back (I sleep nearest to the window!)...

Thank you for sharing and HHNT!

[I love that shade of blue. What's surprising is it makes the room feel *lighter* than it did when it was painted white. I think perhaps lower expectations? :-) Thanks, Helga, and happy HNT to you too. --fl]

i love sharp straight sheets upon which to make my bodily mark of passion. Great shots, Figleaf

happy HNT x

[Thank you, Bittersweet. All the more reason to make the bed tightly! (I, like my mother, draw the line at ironing sheets though. Even though they really feel wonderful that first time you slide between them.) --fl]

Hmmm... sleeping that much doesn't required to fix the bed at all...

This is a seriously sexy photo. I can't say enough how hot it is to see a man enjoying housework. I'm with Biscuit, I want to see a full shot of that tattoo. Happy HNT!
