I get so much inspiration from spam. Ok, inspiration for whacky photo sets, not so much actual inspiration to take them up on their no-doubt well-intentioned offers. :-)
The one that lit me up this week said “Your tool must grow bigger.” Actually I have a tool that does that already so here’s proof.
One thing worth mentioning by the way. I pulled the tape out to the cannonical twelve inches and… I dunno. Since it would reach up to my sternum being that large would interfere with my breathing. I have no idea how But as always let me know if you feel otherwise. To paraphrase Will Rogers said “It’s not the things I don’t know that get me into trouble. It’s the things I know that just ain’t true.” :-)
Meanwhile…
Happy HNT (or Half-nekkid Thursday!)

Hee. :)
But never mind your sternum, I'm more concerned about where exactly that would end up inside a partner. (Probable real-life answer: halfway out.) Still, I've seen pictures and I've heard stories about people getting in past their elbows, so I have no doubt some people like it that way. But wow.
[Sheah! Just having something that big resting *against* my chest would be tough. Imagining it pressing up against your diaphragm from the *inside* seems... daunting. Although as you say it works for some people. Of course *something always* works for *some* people -- that's how diversity works. :-) But yeah, me? Not so much. By the way "Probably real-life answer: halfway out?" Yeah, that's also what I've heard from most people in a position to know. Thanks, Holly! --fl]

The best thing about that tool is that one can belong to women just as easily as men!
Your HNT's always make me smile ...
[Thanks, Dana. I appreciate it. (*Loved* that hint of restless serenity by the way.) --fl]

I love your silliness -- its a rare and cherished trait. :)
[Thanks, Ms. I. I mean... if you can't make it *stop* then what else are you gonna do with spam like that anyway? :-) (And hey, contemplativeness works too -- I really like your photo this week.) Happy HNT. --fl]

[Thanks so much, Monkey! I feel like I was so dour all summer. It's great to lighten up a little and it just seemed like such a great opportunity. Thanks again. --fl]

Figleaf, this set is _hilarious_. I love it when it involves humor.
Concerning the guidelines: I had a kind of moment of doubt last week. I thought nobody would be interested in seeing my plying, but decided to post anyway because I was interested in showing, so there!
I just realized how ironic it is that today is the day I put my toes on the other side of the line, considering that yesterday I was outed as a blogger. Someone in the city discovered who I was because she saw me spinning in a restaurant. Who knew a fiber blog would be so dangerous to my anonymity.
*shrugs* Not going to delete the post. Happy HNT!
[Great timing then, CB. Sorry you were outed. With any luck all they know is "that woman I saw spinning has a blog" and not "I never knew you had a mole *there.*" :-) (You've taken "knit black dress" to a whole 'nother level by the way.) Happy HNT to you too. --fl]
