I came downstairs to make coffee, and because I’m still under the weather. (All week I’ve had a mild version of the nasty flu that’s been going around.) I huddled around my little space heater while the coffee maker warmed up. And grabbed a camera because… well, why not?
Anyway, while I was taking the photos in this really warm, dark glow the sky started to grow light and cast these cool blue highlights through the windows. I’m… pretty much not at all half-nekkid. (I’m actually kneeling on my pants but I don’t think that counts.) But it was too cool an effect to pass up.

This shot is incredible. I'm completely enchanted by the effect--it's like the heat-sensor pictures that detect only forms...

Oh, this is such an amazing picture - I love the colors! Reminds me of pics taken in tanning beds, oddly enough.
