I wouldn’t tease BDSM people about Japanese-style bondage techniques if I didn’t have a lot of respect for the skill that goes into it. Part of the problem is I can’t even do cat’s cradle string patterns without getting all tangled up.

The intriguing thing about those pictures is the way they suggest that one hand is the puppet of the other. Which in turns suggests all kinds of captivating games that might involve string, though not necessarily.

I for one was totally inept at cat’s cradle – never mind that it’s supposed to be one of those things that all schoolgirls grok, along with a passion for ponies – but that doesn’t mean I’d be averse to someone else tangling me up in string. He would have to have some clue about what he’s doing, though. Waiting for the jaws of life to arrive is the least erotic scenario I can imagine.
