And then you look at the clock. Goodness, time’s flying and priorities get shifted.

Okay, so this doesn’t reflect at all on the qualities of your legs – not at all! – but didn’t you once mock the idea of “porn for women” consisting of semi-nekkid men doing housework? And haven’t you posted several series of you doing, well, just that – cleaning and cooking and laundry while shedding your clothes? I remember, too, that you had an error message on your old site in which you were naked apart from an apron.

I appreciate a man who does his share of housework. I appreciate nice legs and buns. I really enjoy the everyday sexiness of men (hopelessly hetero as I am). But I don’t want to see housework and sex as transactional. I know you don’t, either, figleaf. So I guess I’m puzzled by domestic work as a recurring motif.

Happy HNT, anyway – especially once you’re out of the kitchen. :-)

[I continue to balk, hard, at the proposal that women are so bound to housework that just the thought of a man doing it “for them” is erotic. Instead housework is just something that has to be done and it’s up to the grownups in the house to do it. That doesn’t mean it can’t be made sexy, as when someone does it without pants. As for why I keep winding up taking photos while I’m doing it well, I’m a stay-at-home dad so a lot of the time it’s just what I do much of the time. Today I was going to take photos before the children got home from playdates and I had to cook supper. Then I noticed that while carting them around earlier I’d spaced out cleaning up after breakfast. So in this case it was either clean up and take photos, or just clean up. :-) Thanks, Sungold. —fl]

Nice post – happy HNT!! I do most of the housework as well although I generally do not shed my clothing while doing it – i’ll have to add that element sometime and see how my wife reacts….she’ll probably ask me what the hell i’m doing and tell me to get dressed :s
