Just to put things in perspective, while sex is wonderful, going skiing with your seven- and ten-year-old children on a beautifully clear, cold afternoon just as the sun is beginning to set and a front is beginning to move in is an indescribable delight.

I've never been skiing, nor likely to, so I really don't know. Indeed it does look a wonderful sight, but are you telling me I've missed out on something that puts sex into perspective? Oh woe!
[My introduction to the notion came at a ski hill in southern Colorado with a bunch of *extremely* highly sexed men and women (but not partners) who kept comparing the ski runs to orgasms "except ski runs last longer." I had never downhill skiied before so I wasn't in a position to appreciate their fervor. I will say that there are other things that are as nice as or even nicer than sex. Fortunately we rarely need to pick and choose. Enjoying skiing in no way lessens our enjoyment of sex. Or vice versa. Thanks, A. --fl]

This snow is fantastic! I didn't make it up the mountain to ski or board but I've been out playing and did a little driving as well.
Mmm, snow.
[Oh yeah, you're less than a tank-full of gas away from me! It really is beautiful. Let's enjoy it while we can, before the rains set back in again. Thanks, J. --fl]

That is quite a perspective, both in words and in images. What a lovely day to remember, for you and your children.
And I am so glad to see that you did not spend your weekend at a shopping mall!
[It was wonderful, Kochanie. Thank you. --fl]

Stunning view!
I'll be in the lodge looking cute. I don't ski!
[Ok, so there's this ancient, dumb old joke. A guy comes with frostbitten fingers and his sweetie puts his hands between her thighs to warm them. When he's recovered he says "how can I ever repay you" and she says "well, your ears still look a little chilly." ... Ok, did I say it was a dumb joke? Nevermind. I'm sure you'd look fetching in the lodge. Thanks, Madame. --fl]
