it's almost disturbing, how much of a kick I'm getting out of this series. ;)
[There's more to come. Thanks, M! --fl]

wouldn't sitting be easier :0)
nice shot though as always :0)
Happy HNT!
[Hmm. I almost never sit to take off my socks. And there wasn't really anywhere in the bathroom to sit comfortably anyway. (Strange and counter-intuitive as that might sound.) Thanks, Mergrl. --fl]

As long as you take 'em off.
[Yeah, once they're off I can do this adorably nerdish trick where I spin them around my finger and roll them up. Fortunately I'm a good kisser so I can make onlookers forget they saw me do it. If they haven't fled. :-) Thanks, Wenchy. --fl]

Happy HNT!!

A new yoga posture? How to prevent putting foot in mouth...
No matter what the caption, the picture is a delight. Thank you!

[Thanks, Kochanie! Yeah, that's it, I'm doing urban yoga! :-) --fl]

Um...yes, it is graceful and you can take you socks off anytime you want for me. Or you can leave them on. Either way is by me. ;)
[Thanks, Boo. --fl]

Socks are the bane of my existance.
When is the best time to take them off preceding sex?
After the shoes of course but before the pants?
Do you stand do you sit?
Is it hot to take your partners socks off him or is that just gross?
Socks, socks, socks!
Tell you what, I'd let you leave your socks on.
[No way I'd leave 'em on. If I'm undressing it's shirt, shoes, socks, pants in that order. If you're undressing someone I recommend sitting him down to remove his shirt, shoes and socks, then standing him up for some snogging and bare-chested squeezing while undoing his pants. Not only does that feel wonderful and sexy, it also gets you further away in case he's got stinky piggies. :-) Thanks, Madame. --fl]

Oh my god!
You own socks?
And therefore shoes as well?
Color me all shades of Seattle stunned. I just imagine you in Tevas. All Teva all the time.
kissykiss,
cg
[I own a surprising number of shoes for someone who wears Tevas (technically Chakos and Keens) or goes barefoot when weather permits. But hey, we invented casual Fridays out here and, in the software industry, casual Friday was designed to get us to dress *up * one day a week. We used to joke that the dress code where I used to work was "if you're just going to wear a bathrobe to work you have to keep it tied shut. :-) But then 80 hours a week was considered working part-time! Thanks, CG. --fl]

Grace is a state of being, not a method to take of socks ;)
HHNT, hon. Digging this series :)
[Thanks, DN. Glad you're enjoying the series. --fl]

I really don't think there is a graceful way to remove socks... and yet getting down to business with them on is just plain silly... :) Liking the series (just like everyone else it seems), HHNT fl. :)
[Actually unless they're tight you can usually slip them off when you slip the pants legs over your feet. I'm sure there's something women feel awkward removing but I'm not sure what. Panty hose? Thanks, Just Me. --fl]

Oh for sure there is a graceful way to take off socks standing ... if you are a balarina, a yoga instructor or a gymnastics gold medalist *smile*
[Good point! :-) Thanks Leela. --fl]

Have your lover take off your socks...they're gonna be grabbing your ankles anyway....
[That would certainly diminish the chagrin, eh? Thanks, Mona! --fl]

I step on them and pull them off a bit at a time by lifting my leg up, then re-adjusting and starting over again... For some reason men have always assumed that I am squirming and anxious to get into their pants (which was true). I bet it would work for men as well..
[Yeah, I often do that but since my camera was sitting on a counter you couldn't have seen it if I did that. :-) I agree it would be fun to watch! Thanks, LushlyMe. --fl]

forget about the socks....
all i see is one very flexible and sexy man!

See, that is one of the many problems I have with socks. Hate em. Even in winter.
But you look very fetching coming out of them.
And what you are doing is a great stretch for the glues, you know?
:D
[My glutes may be scarred from motorcycle wrecks but they're very flexible. As you may discover in a few more posts. Thanks, AAG. --fl]

actually, I kinda like the lil bounce that goes along with taking socks off that way.
It's cute to watch.
;)
[Good point, Melissa. And as Lushly Me said a bit earlier about wiggling out of hers, the little bounce usually means you or your partner are excited, impatient, eager to be doing something else. And when that something else involves you, it's wonderful to watch. Thanks. --fl]

I think you do that very gracefully! I never sit to take off my socks either.
[Aha! Validation! :-) Thanks, SignGurl! --fl]

Graceful? Doesn't have to be graceful, figleaf...
Think of it this way: you're standing on one leg; that means your ab muscles are tight, helping with balance, and though we can't see it in this pic, your butt is tight, too. Deltoids and triceps taut ... all sorts of things going on!! And I like all of them. Sometimes clumsiness is sexy, too!
Thanks again for making Thursday so great!!
[Thanks, Rhia! A kenetic analysis of clumsiness! How cool is that? --fl]

i have sock issues - i hate it when my shoes eat my socks... once, i was beginning to disrobe (for the greatest reason) and my socks extended 3 or 4 inches beyond my toes... she laughed, i laughed... damn ~nice photo~ HHNT!
[Oh yeah, that used to happen to me all the time when I wore Dingo/cowboy/engineer's boots. I hated that feeling and you're right it always looks goofy when you pull 'em off and your socks are all bunched up. :-) Thanks, Jericho. --fl]

There is no graceful way to take off socks and it is ALWAYS the most awkward undressing step when it comes to undressing your partner too. usually good for a chuckle or two but both of us refuse to enjoy each other's complete nekkidness while still keeping the socks on...Happy HNT
