I just noticed that while photos of young women kissing in public places have been common enough to have become cliché it’s quite a bit less common, but quite… stirring… to see photos of men and women kissing. Depending on your orientation your mileage is welcome to vary of course. But even so.

Wait, you're under the impression that photos of women kissing in public are so common they're actually cliche, but photos of hetero kisses are really hard to come by...? Do we live on the same planet?
[Hi Daisy. Same planet, definitely but maybe different contexts. As Nightfall says, below, I mean in eroticized commercial contexts. I think it might have something to do with inhibitions against kissing (of all things) in hetero porn. --fl]

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. But, in that context, okay.
But, in either case, as much as I'm dreading pretty much every other aspect of trying to eventually start dating (or whatever people do now) after the better part of a decade on the bench, I'm REALLY looking forward to kissing again...if I remember how.
