Moving the mountain during intercourse

In her cool post about combining masturbation and sex, Cherrie of The sensual libertine has a very cool suggestion for intensifying clitoral stimulation during intercourse by pressing the mons vernis.

Mons pressure: The mons pubis is the tight ball of flesh appearing just above the clitoral opening. Placing a palm on the mons and pushing downward while a hard cock (or fingers, or dildo) thrusts inside the vagina greatly intensifies the pleasurable sensations coming from the intercourse. This increases the pressure on the clitoris without the sort of direct manipulation that some women find overly intense or uncomfortable. You can stretch out your fingers and stroke or scratch your man’s throbbing penis at the same time!

See her other cool technique suggestions here.

If you’ve all been doing this for years feel free to burst my bubble, but I’d never heard this suggestion.

Applying pressure to the mons during an orgasm is supposed to prolong the orgasm.
I am not sure if it prolongs my orgasm but it sure feels real nice.

[Nice to have authoratative corroboration, Madame. :-) Thanks! --fl]

Figleaf,

A while back you posted on the sensitivity of men's nipples, a little known fact that has led to those delights being foolishly ignored or (pardon the term) "manhandled" by many an unaware female partner. Direct stimulation of the clitoris has the same effect for some women, so variations of frottage or tribadism work well for those women who need a lighter touch. Which is why some women can more easily achieve orgasm by masturbating by merely pressing their thighs together. I guess this could be termed the Look, Ma, no hands! method of self-stimulation, which btw, is very convenient for those long transatlantic flights. (Be prepared for that post-orgasmic gush, though.) Combining this pressure on the mons with a vaginal penetration is, as Madame X says, "real nice."

I located a reference for you on this technique, which is called the "massage" and can be found here.

Since I feel a bad pun rising to the surface, I will quickly conclude by wishing you and your readers a Happy New Year.

[More great references. Thanks, Kochanie! (Also, it's going to be more interesting looking at my fellow passengers on long flights now.) --fl]

Most definitely. I keep my hand there while I'm being banged and it can keep him from penetrating too deeply. Also by reaching a little with my fingers, I can feel his cock sliding in and out between them, which is a turn on. Then I can press on my labia while it goes in and out, and pull on them to spread them open a bit.
Of course, I do like direct stimulation but I've been trying to get him there before I get there lately, so the mons pressure is my way of keeping me going without going over the top.

[Thanks Heart. I think I might have implied that direct stimulation isn't always welcome. Instead, at least some of the time, almost all my partners have either directly stimulated themselves or asked me to. I hadn't heard of pressing the mons but it sounds like a very interesting variation. (Also, it's always fun to meet someone who has to be careful not to finish before her partner does.) --fl]
