Regarding Vasectomy Reversals

Note #3: Birth Control: Vasectomies are surprisingly reversible. According to the urologist who reversed mine, the biggest obstacle isn’t reconnecting the plumbing. It’s the typical age of the reverse-ee and of the reverse-ee’s partner. The standard scenario: Man gets vasectomy in his mid-30’s. Man remarries in his early-to-mid-50’s. Man’s partner is in her early-to-mid-40’s. They wish to start a second family. Fertility at these ages is already moderately problematic anyway, and this, more than the technical surgery itself, accounts for most reports of low success rates for reversals.

Bottom line: If this is why you’re balking at a vasectomy, discuss it with a urologist.

I just want to know how to masterbate please. I'm a female in need and would like to try it.

[For real? I'm not a total expert, Judy, but the first thing I'd try if I were you would be to find a copy of "SelfLoving" or "Sex for One" by Betty Dodson. Or even a copy of the old, old "The Sensuous Woman" by "J." You should be able to find one of those in a metropolitan used bookstore, or of course you can order them online. If that doesn't work, get a reasonably low-priced variable-speed vibrator and practice finding spots that feel good, then speeds that feel better. And if that doesn't work, what we used to recommend at the old sex information and referral service I was a teen volunteer at decades ago is to lie in the bathtub and direct a solid, not too strong stream of warm water over your clitoris. You can do this either by scootching down under the faucet or by unscrewing the nozzle on a hand-held shower massager. Also it's important to know it almost always takes quite a bit of practice. Good luck! --fl]
