Weather outside is frightful HNT

So I know, I know, everyone up to and including the New York Times has been going on and on about how soggy the Northwest has been this year. Yeah, yeah, we get a lot of rain.

What’s less known is that the Northwest also hold the record for snowfall — 1,140 inches at Mt. Baker in 1998-99, 1,122 inches at Mt. Ranier in 1971-72.

Well, we don’t usually get snow down here in the lowlands (see rain, above) but it’s been an unusual month. I’m just eyeballing and here in town I’m seeing… maybe… two inches. Max! (But then, as you can probably tell if you look closely, it’s bloody cold!)

Happy HNT (or Half-nekkid Thursday!)

Damn, that looks good!
Happy HNT!

Oh my... can I come play in the snow with you?

We've gotten almost 2 feet so far :)

[Of course, Crimson. Thanks! And Happy HNT. --fl]

you are NOT nekkid in the SNOW!?!? OMG!

*~*happy hnt*~*

[Well, I *was* wearing a hat. And a camera strap! But otherwise yeah. Things I do for my readers, eh? Thanks, Phain. And happy HNT to you too. --fl]

that is wonderful! looking for someone to warm you up because you must be awfully cold!
HHNT!

[Exactly, Pi! I totally needed a warmup after that. It took way longer to setup than I'd planned but I, um, stuck it out. Thanks. Oh, and happy HNT to you too. --fl]

That looks to cold to roll around in.... Now if there is a fireplace invovled I will be right over

HHNT

[I did have a fire going but in too public a space for the other side of the "weather outside is frightful" couplet. Thanks, Ag, and happy HNT. --fl]

Well this is definitely one SEXY pic.....whew!! But ummm were your balls caught in your throat after being covered in COLD snow???? lol

hehe HHNT ;)

[Not so much. I've got a lot of stern old Scotts/Scandinavian blood so they endured the weather with stoicism. :-) Thanks, Chelle. --fl]

Great photo - was your butt cold? Happy HNT

[Cold, sure, but it was worth it. Funny thing is this was the last one I took before I jumped inside and by then I really was *freezing!* But it's like I finally just relaxed or something and it came out perfectly -- way more interesting than the others. Discipline pays off. Or desperation. :-) Thanks, Regal. --fl]

You're a better man than I! I contemplated a nekkid in the snow shot, but the well-below-zero temps pretty much took care of that idea. Besides, the boys wouldn't make it out for a week if I did that!

[Doh! See! You just do what I (shoulda) done and ask someone to help you warm them back up! :-) Thanks, Osbasso, and, of course, happy HNT. --fl]

Nice shot but I'll stick with looking like the Michelin Man myself. Brrr.

[Thank you, J. (It's all melting out here this morning south of your border. How's about you?) --fl]

Look at all the little foot prints...did you leave any little prints?

Great picture! Happy HNT!

[If I left any other prints they're gone now, CeeCi. (I just checked.) A warm front has blown back in, with rain of course, and the snow's melting very fast. Thanks, by the way, and happy HNT. --fl]

I am impressed....it was 39 degrees here yesterday (and humid)....can you send some of the snow!

[Too late! The mercury's rising and the snow's melting fast. (Too fast, actually! With rain melting snow we're getting even more flooding than usual. Doh!) Thanks, Avalon. --fl]

lol at Wordslut!!

You have gone above and beyond the call dear Fig!

You've given new meaning to "snow balls" ;)

[It's true! It reminds me that about a year ago I promised you and, I think, AAG that I'd to photos of what happens to erections when you apply ice (and then how to make everything "all better" afterwards.) The point being to illustrate "shower vs. grower" growth possibilities. Well, it's still on the agenda, I guess, but I missed a great opportunity for one of the "before" photos. :-) Thanks, Madame. --fl]

"It's 'brass monkeys' outside" (i.e. meaning it's cold enough to freeze the balls off of brass monkeys) as they say here lol.

Bleedin' 'eck mate, I do hope that's shaving cream you've got there on your testicles and not snow! lol

[Nope, it's snow, silly. We're all a lot tougher than we think we are. Thanks, Dewdrop. --fl]

First Officer: Ma'm, the road surface looks pretty clear. I don't see any patches of ice here.
Woman: I never said anything about *patches of ice.*
First Officer: Then why is your car upon on the sidewalk?
Woman, cantankerously: Because of that man. The naked man.
Second Officer: What naked man?
Woman: The naked man that was over there! (Angrily gestures to space between two houses).
Second Officer: There's no one there now.
Woman: Of course he's not there! He'd be frozen to death by the time you got here.
First Officer: What was he doing, Ma'm?
Woman: I'm not really sure...it looked like he was checking something on the side of the building, then, he sat down in the snow, and...
First Officer: He sat down in the snow?
Woman: Yes, he sat down, and then he scooped up some snow and put it on his...private area.
Second Officer: Maybe he had a rash.
Woman: What?
Second Officer: No joke. My brother-in-law thought he was picking up one of those baby wipes. Turns out it was one of those with bleach. Said he couldn't take a cold shower fast enough.
First Officer: May I see your license, Ma'm? (sotto voce to Second Officer): Run a DUI check, will ya?
First Officer to Woman: Can you give me a description?
Woman: He was naked.
First Officer: Got that.
Woman: Tall. He was rather tall. Slender, but well-built. Muscular.
First officer: How tall?
Woman: How should I know?
First officer: Anything more? Hair color? Facial characteristics?
Woman: Well, no ...I wasn't looking at his face.
First Officer: Could you identify him if you saw him again?
Woman: Of course..if he was naked.

[I'm totally impressed, Kochanie. There are about six layers of cool in that story. Thanks. --fl]

If I saw one of my neighbours in the snow, testing out the brass monkey premise, I'm sure I'd be seriously worried. On the other hand we don't ever have anything like enough snow for a decent covering ...

So how is it that the snow didn't melt in contact with the, um, body?

[It was maybe 25 degrees (-4 degrees Celsius) outside when I took the photo, A, so it wasn't going anywhere fast. :-) I appreciate your concern though so thank you. --fl]

Unbelieveable! :)

This by far is my favorite HNT of yours or anyone elses that I have seen. And I'm not just talking today...

You continually amaze me in your creativity and knowledge...Love it, love it, love it...

sexy as you please but dayum you sent shivers up my spine!

HHNT

[It's not how cold you get, it's how you warm up afterwards, Lime. :-) Thanks for worrying about me but I promise I recovered very nicely. Happy HNT. --fl]

Hey there Figleaf...
I found your Happy Naked Thursday post so inspiring that I am going to join you in some outdoor nakedness...but also took a moment to repost on my own blog about you. Hope that's okay with you...
Hugs
Roxy

What dedication to HNT, putting yourself in the snow like that just for us!

Next time, to make it easier on yourself, you don't have to cover up your junk. :)

HAPPY HNT!

[Thanks, Polt. Happy HNT. --fl]

I love the snow probably because I don't see much of it. But I am a little too cold natured for naked pics in the snow. But yours on the other hand is very sexy.

Happy HNT...

[Thank you, Cat. I'm glad you found it sexy and not just chilly. Happy HNT. --fl]

Well color me impressed! Your bravery only adds to the sexiness of the photo. I was reminded of an incomplete sundae; shall I come over with my chocolate syrup and strawberries?

[You got it, Kitty! And pineapple sauce, and whipped cream, and a little jar full of those cherries with the stems still. It would have warmed me back up very nicely. Thanks! --fl]

Ooh, your red feet and goosebumps look very uncomfortable.

But the footprints in the snow are sexy...

Love Kochanie's script!
